Has anyone else noticed all the repetition of sounds in alot of Perth music? Like all the "na na na's" and "do do do's? Some examples that spring to mind are: The "na na na na's" in Sleepy Jackson- This Day, Bob Evans- Friday Come Five and End of Fashion- Rough Diamonds. The "woah oh woah oh's" in The Fergusons- Sinner is Red and Spencer Tracy- Ocean. The "do do do do's" in Spencer Tracy- Capsize. The "la la la's" in Little Birdy- Baby Blue. Just wondering if people think that this is an aspect of the "Perth scene sound"?? Although all these bands have their own style and sound very different, i can always pick a Perth band when i hear these sounds. Do you think it caught on as a Perth scence sound and that's why alot of these bands are doing it? Or do you just think that all these bands ran out of lyrics and just started babbling crap?
