You can advertise whatever you want here about your band. As long as things don't get too out of control.
Gigs, releases, tours, whatever.
Have fun.

I'm looking for a band who used to play at the Passion Lounge. Buggered if I can remember their name, but the vocalist's name was Jules. There were three guys in the band. I live in Sydney but will be in Perth soon and want to see if they've got any gigs happening while I'm there! HELP!

I used to play a fair bit at the passion lounge with KittyRayVision and saw a lot of other bands there too. Could you describe what the band looked like, and their music style etc?? I don't know anyone called Jules from a three piece band, but I pretty much have an aural memory so if you can describe the music and people- I may be able to halp you if I saw them at any stage meself

Hey there everyone, I'm part of a trio presently unknown under a few names, we're planning on finishing an album this year under one of the names depending which one is finished first. Apeshit = metal, Sasquatch = rock/progressive, and The Flying Crap Factory which is pretty much anything goes as long as it grooves or moves in some way (and isn't metal or rock ). Though if you don't like heavy/experimental things you may not enjoy where it's going. I have samples of a few tracks off two of them on myspace, where we are at the present level anyway (guitars, bass, programmed drums, presently instrumental) and would love some Perth opinions (born and raised here myself). If anyone likes it we'd love to do some gigs, but we'd need a month in advance warning as I'm presently trying to get the other 2 upto speed with the songs. The truth is I've been playing and recording for a long time, and know what I'm doing in terms of my songs, but I don't quite know how to get into the gig scene, though that sounds stupid I know. Do I just go to a pub that puts on a heavy night and ask if I can play? Do I carry a cd around with me? All suggestions very welcome, I'll register to this forum after this post if possible. www.myspace.com/theflyingcrapfactoryAll opinions welcome, constructively brutal criticism too! Excuse the extended post, I tend to overdo it with words, which maybe one of the reasons I got into music in the first place. ps - always looking for musicians looking to play crazy stuff.
